PATCH 1.0.1 | Successful release stream! ...and fingies oversight


Welcome to this first dev post! First of all, I want to thank every one of you that tuned in during the final release countdown yesterday! It was such a fun night and absolutely AMAZING! I destroyed my sleep schedule in the process, but it was well worth it! I plan to make a proper release party either this Friday or next week's Friday, at 7PM EST. So get your Avigens ready!


Now, here comes the first patch! Someone in my community noticed that the hands of the Avigen were not displaying the finger gestures. The facial animations worked, but not finger movements. Went back to test it myself in Desktop mode, they did not move. I thought it was normal behaviour as my own sona did not move its fingers either.... until I swapped to another base I owned and noticed them move. I immediately went to work on this and figured out a big oversight, which I promptly patched in this update! It is definitely something I should have been more attentive to while testing, but I will definitely not forget about this for my future avatars!


  • (VRC) Fixed gestures finger movements on non-index controllers and Desktop mode. Hand gesture animation poses are now included in the base package

This update applies to the Base Unity Package and the VRChat Unity Package. To install this update in your project, import the Base Unity Package first. Then, for VRC, import the VRC Unity Package second. The Beat Saber Unity Package is unaffected and does not require to be reimported.
