The Avigen is an avian species that has augmented themselves with biorobotics. Either it's to repair lost limbs or simply to become stronger in different aspects of their physical activities, they all share this unique cyborg look.

Please be sure to read the MDB Universal Avatar License and this avatar's requirements before purchasing this base.

*(MAR 10th 2023: VRC released their VRAM update, which unfortunately completely killed the Avigen's performance rating. Initially a Medium pre-update, it has now moved to Very Poor. Very luckily, after a quick examination of the Quest version, it seems it is still at a Poor rating. Yipee! please read this blog post for workarounds on how to bring back your PC Avigen back to Medium or at least Poor ratings)

**(AUG 12th 2024: VRC released their Uncompressed Size update, and likely killed that performance rank too. Please report back if the Poor version is still Poor in-game! Currently reports Very Poor in the SDK due to how it reads texture memory before export, which I want to remediate soon)

(This is for VRC)

Greetings! I was wondering if this avatar supports AudioLink integration.

Hi there ChaosContrl! The base package does not come with AudioLink integration unfortunately due to time constraints and other priorities (I also never worked with AudioLink before). Some people in the community have successfully modified theirs with AudioLink however, so it shouldn't be a big problem to ask around for help in the discord to implement it!

Alright thank you, I'll be doing just that then!

Greetings!

I made an itch.io account just to say that I find your avigen base model to be aesthetically pleasing of the umpteenth quality and that I am overwhelmingly ecstatic to buy the base once it becomes quest-compatible for us quest-plebs!

Thank you for your work!

possibility on adding a tutorial on adding the CVR models to CVR in the documentation? it'd really help when converting the model to CVR!

(+1)

Hi there DoctorPlague! A CVR unity package is included when downloading the Unity Packages zip file, with everything already setup without needing any conversion (just import the base package beforehand as with all other platforms). Quick instructions exist in the download, but online graphical documentation will be updated soon once I get the chance (been really busy these past few weeks)

ah that's perfectly fine! i did finally manage to wrap my head around the VCR package after a few web searches on how to use the CVR plugin. i appreciate the further notice of a documentation update and i hope you dont work yourself too hard! keep up the great work!
